Birdays 是无需注册账号的私人鸟类记录工具。本政策自 2026 年 10 月 11 日起生效。
设备上的照片与记录
你可手动选取照片，或主动轻点日历的 Auto-fill，让 Birdays 在照片权限允许的范围内检查当前展示月份的照片，并将筛出的可能含鸟照片按拍摄日期加入记录。授权本身不会启动扫描。照片、日期、鸟名、设置、缩略预览与识别结果缓存保存在设备上；Birdays 不提供账号同步。
AI 云端处理
只有你主动使用 Identify 或鸟名翻译并同意后，Birdays 才会通过 Birdays 的云端服务，将识别用的重新编码鸟类照片或翻译用的可选鸟名文本发送给第三方 AI 服务提供商，用于生成你请求的识别或翻译结果。上传的照片和鸟名不用于模型训练。重新编码的识别照片不包含原始照片元数据。服务返回物种名称与鸟的位置建议，结果可能不准确。Birdays 不将照片或鸟名用于广告或跨 App 跟踪，也不会把随机安装标识发送给第三方 AI 服务提供商。
额度与保存期限
为管理 AI 使用额度并防止滥用，Birdays 会使用随机生成的安装标识及经处理的 IP 地址信息，记录使用次数。相关服务端记录通常在最后一次相关请求后两天内清除。Birdays 云端服务仅在处理请求期间暂时持有照片或鸟名，不保存其正文。设备上的识别结果缓存可能在删除单条记录后保留，供重新导入相同照片时复用，直到卸载 App 或系统清除应用数据；设备上的安装标识可能在卸载后仍由系统保留。第三方 AI 服务提供商可能在你所在国家或地区之外（包括中国）处理或存储收到的内容。

第三方 AI 服务提供商对收到内容的保存与删除，适用其数据处理规则。你可以通过 choviiyang@gmail.com 向我们提出相关查询或删除请求。关闭 AI 云端处理会停止后续上传，但不会自动删除此前已发送至第三方的内容。
你的选择与删除
你可以拒绝 AI 同意，继续使用本地记录；也可在“设置 → AI 云端处理”中轻点“关闭 AI 云端处理”撤回同意；再次使用 AI 时会重新征求同意。你可在 iOS 设置中更改照片权限，并在 App 中逐条删除记录。删除记录会在撤销期限结束后移除对应的本地照片，但识别结果缓存可能继续保留。卸载 App 通常会移除应用容器内的记录与缓存；如需提出隐私请求，请联系 choviiyang@gmail.com。
安全、儿童与变更
Birdays 使用加密连接传输照片和鸟名。如监护人对儿童使用 Birdays 或相关隐私事项有疑问，请联系 choviiyang@gmail.com。本政策变化时，我们会在 App 内更新文本和生效日期。

Overview
Birdays is a private bird journal without accounts. This policy takes effect on October 11, 2026.
Photos and records on your device
You can choose photos manually or tap Auto-fill in Calendar to check photos in the displayed month within the access you granted and add possible bird photos to records by capture date. Granting access alone does not start a scan. Photos, dates, bird names, settings, previews and identification result caches are stored on your device. Birdays has no account sync.
Cloud AI processing
Only after you use Identify or bird name translation and consent does Birdays send a re-encoded bird photo for identification or optional bird name text for translation through its cloud service to a third-party AI service provider. The content is used to generate the identification or translation result you requested. Uploaded photos and bird names are not used for model training. Re-encoded identification photos omit original photo metadata. The service suggests species names and bird positions; results may be wrong. Birdays does not use photos or names for advertising or cross-app tracking, and does not send the random installation identifier to the third-party AI service provider.
Quota and retention
To manage AI usage limits and prevent abuse, Birdays uses a randomly generated installation identifier and processed IP address information to count requests. These server records are normally deleted within two days of the last related request. The Birdays cloud service holds photos or bird names only while processing a request and does not retain their contents. Identification results may remain cached on your device after an individual record is deleted, so the same photo can reuse a result, until the app or its data is removed. The system may retain the installation identifier on your device after uninstall. The third-party AI service provider may process or store received content outside your country or region, including China.
Third-party retention and deletion
The third-party AI service provider retains and deletes received content according to its data processing rules. You can contact us at choviiyang@gmail.com with related inquiries or deletion requests. Turning off cloud AI processing stops future uploads, but does not automatically delete content previously sent to the third party.
Your choices and deletion
You may decline AI processing and keep local journaling. You can withdraw consent by tapping “Turn off cloud AI processing” in Settings → AI processing. You will be asked for consent again the next time you use AI. You can change photo access in iOS Settings and delete records individually. Once the Undo period ends, deletion removes the local record photo, but the identification result cache may remain. Uninstalling normally removes the app container records and cache. Security, children and changes
Birdays uses encrypted connections to transmit photos and bird names. Parents or guardians with questions about a child’s use of Birdays or related privacy matters can contact choviiyang@gmail.com. We will update this in-app policy and effective date when it changes.
